New beginnings
I finally get the chance to be on the internet once again after things have somewhat settled down. It's still not perfectly set up, but it'll do for now. Here's where things pretty much stand.
Because this is a very big change in pretty much every way imaginable, it takes a while getting used to. Life has done a spring-cleaning of sorts. Everything that I know and have has been reduced to the most minimal and the most basic, and everything else will have to be build up again, all in due time. What this means is that I will be pausing the online shop for now, for how long I don't know. I will still be working on the magazine that I had started, but I will have to reassess the time schedule. It may not be possible to release the first issue by January, so it may very well be that the first issue will be for Mar-Apr, and it will be a printed one. It may be better that way anyway, so I'll have more time to work on it and if there were to be any kinks along the way, there will still be time to iron them out.
This website will be redone once I have my computer fully set up, leaving only the blog part for now. After that, we'll see how it evolves.
And I guess that is pretty much it. In other news, I am enjoying my time here. But then that's another entry for another day. Happy holidays everyone.

Say goodbye...
So guys.. in one hour I will be leaving home for one last time and heading to the airport. I had just finished packing. No, I can't say it's really 'finished' but I did what I could, and hope for the best. I ended up not taking the mannequin, and left the heavier materials behind. .... Ok I was gonna write longer, but there really is no time. This macbook has to be packed in too. Will write more later. Ciao!

Time to pack
This is what I have been busy with (amongst other things...).
I'm only given an one-bag/20-kilos allowance for checked baggage, and the mannequin and the bag is already taking up half of it - weight-wise and space-wise. Lucky for me, the mannequin can be taken apart and fits just nicely into that big bag that I have. And now I have to sift out the other stuffs that I really need to bring with me, from the ones that I can easily replace, to the ones that I can do without. That is not an easy task, seriously. After the first session, taking in important papers, portfolio items, tools and materials for my label, I'm left with pretty much...nothing. Barely enough for a minimal amount of clothes.
So first packing attempt = Fail. Siiiiggghhhh......
I have to look through it again tonight. Good thing I have the 7kg carry-on. The important paper folder should go in there and maybe the minimal clothes. After the laptop, winter stuffs, and the bag itself weighing 3 kilos. Or I look for a lighter bag. Oh we'll see.

Styl Magazine progress
The past week I have been planning and preparing for the magazine that I'm creating. Now that the media kit is ready and mechanisms of the magazine planned out, it's time to execute it. Now this is the exciting part of design work.
This week I will be scouting shops for items to be featured in the debut issue. The debut issue will only be distributed online, and the first official issue, which I have plans for it to be printed and distributed, will be out for March-April.
